Sigrid Edson is a writer, educator, and theatermaker pursuing her MFA in Playwriting at Boston University. She is a graduate of Seattle Rep’s Professional Arts Training Program and has also held roles at the Eugene O’Neill Theater Center, Baltimore Center Stage, and the Johns Hopkins University Department of Theatre Arts and Studies.

Sigrid believes in a confessional mode of storytelling and often writes from observation and found materials. Her plays explore queerness, madness, loneliness, survival, girlhood, friendship, the end of the world, and the contradictions of a 21st century coming-of-age.
