Sigrid Edson is a writer, educator, and theatermaker pursuing her MFA in Playwriting at Boston University. She is a graduate of Seattle Rep’s Professional Arts Training Program and has also held roles at the Eugene O’Neill Theater Center, Baltimore Center Stage, and the Johns Hopkins University Department of Theatre Arts and Studies.

Sigrid’s plays are about, in no particular order: lesbian burnouts, girls who are bad at being girls, the slow apocalypse, desperation, exhaustion, the metaphysical body, continuing to live even when something bad happens, trying to help people who can’t be helped, and life being a miracle.
